Hello, wonderful people!

Welcome to my brand new to blog! Thank you so much for joining me on this honestly (probably) very awkward start with me. I really want to share some personal experiences with you and not all of them are amazing but don't worry. I'll keep loving life! I started sharing some of my journey on Instagram last August and I cannot wait to continue there and here! Getting to know more of the blogging world past books and getting to know more of you! I have been a book blogger since 2011. I thought it would be easy to start this blog but I was absolutely kidding myself! For many reasons part of which being my health.

My baby Han Solo, he turns 4 this month!

A few things about me:

  • I am a Virgo through and through, my boyfriend is a Taurus through and through. It makes for one stubborn relationship. :)
  • I am very honest and tend to be too blunt, I worry about hurting peoples feelings. So I am always working on catching myself when it's needed.
  • I am a daddy's girl! I always have been.
  • I love hiking as much as I love shopping!
  • I have five brothers, my brother Paul has been on Dialysis for the last few years. Honestly, I'm terrified he won't be here long enough to see all the things he should. He just seems to get sicker and they won't put him on the kidney donor list.
  • I have really bad anxiety, my depression has gotten better in the last few years. But my anxiety is so bad I actually started having seizures in the last few years. In addition I now have IBS because of it. I recently found out I have Endometriosis and a division in my uterus. Unfortunately this list could continue and I may get into it later but right now i'll leave it at that.
  • I have an adorably fantastic cat! I lost my cat Diesel the day before thanksgiving in 2018 to a blockage. I urge anyone who may notice a change in their cat to bring them to the vet.
  • I review books and a completely different website dedicated to it called Jagged Edge Reviews!

My nephew and I!

After spending years running away from being the only girl my mother and father have. I have FINALLY accepted that I can be both girly and not. I finally learned how to do my makeup. I absolutely love to wear dresses, being 5'8" (Thank you daddy!) heels are kind of difficult. I always ended up dating shorter guys with a height complex (Thankfully he doesn't mind being shorter..too much), but I digress. I am a girl and as much as I hate stupidly painful periods I have accepted the girly aspects of me. That doesn't mean I don't still play video games. That doesn't mean I suddenly forgot how to drive my manual cars or my motorcycle. I still love those hikes. I hiked the Appalachian trail with my best friend for my birthday about three years ago in Tennessee. I live in Wisconsin, so a few years before my best friend took me on a wine tour in Door County. He started me on my love of wine. He has opened my eyes to so many amazing things! I hope to be able to be half as amazing of a friend as he is! In a world where people feel it is there job to destroy others I want to be apart of the world where people everyone is being built right on up!
