Workaholic does a TV binge

I was raised to have an extremely strong work ethic. I’m currently off work for my own health. But even now all I can do is work. I started my own business, I review books for my book blog and of course make sure that each instagram I run has content on it almost daily. So to remind myself that I’m supposed to be taking a break and healing in every way possible I do a bit of binging. My boyfriend and I watched all of the Harry Potter movies but that is always a given. Plus we watched Friends! We have our normal shows that we watch like Gotham, The Magicians, Stranger Thimgs. BONUS, Game of Thrones just came back for it's last season! We just started The Enemy Within and started/caught up on The Rookie. On my own I watch Shadow Hunters, Brookly Nine-Nine, This Is Us, Doctor Who, Riverdale. I started The Village at season premiere. I’m working on Lucifer and The Resident to get caught up. There was one show that stood out to me that I watched in ONE night. It was called The Act.

The Act is based off of a true story which can always be a hit or miss. For me it was absolutely a hit. It has Joey King, whom I love. She's in The Kissing Booth most would probably know her from The Conjuring. Maybe even Ramona and Beezus depending on age demographic. She has been in so many things that I never realized. Now excuse me while I gently skip over the rest of the actors in extensive detail like that. A few of the other main actors are Patricia Arquette, Calum Worthy, Chloë Sevigny and, AnnaSophia Robb. Honestly when I started this show I didn't read the description I just saw Joey King and thought what the heck. But I'm here to tell here's the heck: Dee Dee Blanchard is overprotective of her daughter, Gypsy, who is trying to escape the toxic relationship she has with her mother. Gypsy's quest for independence opens up a Pandora's box of secrets, which ultimately leads to murder.

Trust me I am missing shows. I have to say this though we honestly don’t watch that many when I am working we are on opposite schedules and he has his madden franchise. 😂 Also, I don't think this has to be said but I really don't post ad type things on my blog. But if this post came across as one then let me tell you... this show is awesome and that is my honest opinion. 😉
